- Same-Site Link URLs — Don’t just use keywords to describe pages inside your site, those URLs you link to should include SEO URLs as well. (eg: http://site.com/your-keyword.html)

You already point out major on page stuff on your blog. I am going to add few things with your on page stuff.
According to my SEO work experience, i found that title and page description is most important for your keyword position. If you use target keywords on title (50 to 60 words) and use target keywords on meta description , you may done 60% of ranking factor for your site.
Besides, other stuff , like unique content with user engagement, url stricture(factor for E-commerce site), h1/h2 tag can brings ranking factor as well.
